Spinning Cow Elk Hair By Nature’s Spirit

This is the flank hair off the bull elk in a 2×3″ cut. Long, fall or early winter hair that averages 2″ to 3″ in length. Spinning elk is coarser than deer hair (yet softer and slightly more flexible than bull elk) and spins a very durable and very buoyant fly.

This material is great for Stimulators, Humpies, and the classic hair for the legendary Troth Elk Hair Caddis.
