As an expert in the field, RIO’s Morrish observed and studied the fresh October caddis pupa found in the stomachs of steelhead. Two distinct features stood out to me: defined banded segmentation and a larger size than expected. With this knowledge, I have crafted a pattern that mimics these key features and has outperformed previous attempts at imitation.
