Reiner’s Pink Pookie is a pink grasshopper pattern out of the Livingston, Montana area. Something about that pink body has made the Pink Pookie a very popular and effective hopper pattern and trout can’t seem to resist it. Tied with a pink foam body and tan foam overwing, the Pink Pookie floats like a cork and is a great fly for fishing with a dropper down below.
