This red Zelda Conehead style pattern has evolved from the cool shores of Iceland where clear water fishing and bug type flies do very well. It was originally developed on a treble but with the fishing fraternity moving away from treble hooks we have come up with our slant on this bug. We have developed it on a small aluminium tube with a gold Conehead to help them plop through the surface film. The reason we have come up with the tube version is that you can put a single of a double hook on it making it a pattern you can use thought the world on places that allow single and double hooks on your fly.
