Similar in many ways to the legendary Andino Deceiver, the Predator Pounder is one of our Favorite Flies for Golden Dorado in Argentina and Uruguay. These fisheries tend to be more off-color, and you’re often looking to entice or attract a dorado by causing disturbance in the water or by grabbing their attention. The predator pounder does this quite effectively with a bulky head designed to push water, as well as pronounced color combinations that stands out in stained water.
