Using the Ultra Rig System, I have designed a line of smaller intruders. These smaller intruders have a great profile and a bunch of movement. The trailing loop is constructed of 50 pound strength Spider Wire and the hook is an AquaTalon size 2. Overall length of the fly is approximately2.5 – 3 inches.

The Intruder needs no introduction. From its conception years ago to present, the pattern has countless variations. My Intruder is tied with my favorite materials and constructed to be durable and swim like a living creature. I prefer the pattern to be tied with a twin tail of ostrich and long jungle cock eyes on the flank of the twin tails. The jungle cock swims very nice and potentially put the focus of attack on the back of the fly, improving the quality of the hook set location in the fish’s mouth.
