Chan’s Bead Head Blob Fly is a hot pattern for trout in stillwater lakes and this Apricot/Prawn color is one to have on hand. Strange as it may seem, fishing the Blob fly is very effective when fished in a variety of ways. The Blob is often fished without movement by suspending it below an indicator. It is also used as an attractor pattern when fished with chironomids or nymphs on a two (or three) fly dropper setup. The blob is also fished by itself or as an attractor fly on sinking lines and fished with a slow retrieve.
