RIO Light Saltwater Shock Leaders are 10-foot leaders ideal for baby tarpon, snook and other instances where a tough shock tippet is need to protect the leader from teeth or hard mouthed fish, like tarpon. Light Saltwater Shock leaders feature a tough fluorocarbon shock tippet. The main body of the leader is made with a stiff nylon that tapers down to 16lb before being hand-tied to the 45lb fluorocarbon shock tippet.
