Pennington’s Baetis is a larger Baetis nymph with a slender body and flashy little legs. It is tied on a slightly longer shank hook so it is a bit longer than a typical size 18 but it has great fishy appeal and a very durable construction. Pennington’s Baetis is a very good nymph for searching for active fish when Blue Wing Olives are on the menu or anytime as a general mayfly nymph pattern.
